Back to Basics: Hand Instrumentation for Today’s Clinician
With the advent of COVID-19, we have seen an emphasis on aerosol reduction during clinical care. Many clinicians have found themselves relying on classic hand instrumentation, and looking for best practice updates. While hand scaling should be as natural as riding a bike for us, there are key principles of instrumentation that help us reach the highest level of care for patients.
During this webinar we will:
1) Examine how hand scaling fits into current environment
2) Decipher which instruments to use when implementing a patient care plan
2) Study implementation and instrument sequencing.
4) Consider the role of clinician calibration among team member
5) Implement tips for hand scaler maintenance
